The Certified Dental Assisting (CDA) Refresher course is designed for individuals who were previously licensed as Dental Assistants in Canada and have been recommended by the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP). It provides an opportunity for those who need additional clinical practice hours to demonstrate their competency and meet the requirements for licensure in British Columbia.
The course includes a three‑month online theory component followed by a five‑day, in‑person clinical session.
