This course teaches beginning level keyboarding to blind and vision-impaired students on computers with adaptive speech and/or magnification software. Students will use specially adapted software to learn to touch type.

- Home row, enter key and space-bar
- Escape and Tab keys
- Introduction of other alphabetic keys and punctuation
- Introduction of numbers
- Other computer keys such as backspace, insert, delete, and function keys
- Shifted numbers and other shifted keys
- Numeric keypad
- Sentence practice
- Paragraph practice
- Timed touch typing practice
