When education and community move forward together

For decades, VCC has used education to respond to the community’s needs and priorities. Post-secondary institutions have a duty to play an active role in social change. We shape our programs and partnerships through collaboration and accountability to advance inclusion, sustainability, and reconciliation.

A college built to serve its city

At VCC, service is central to learning. Our campuses are part of a larger civic ecosystem, where education supports individual growth and community wellbeing. Student-run services offer hands-on experience while reflecting our commitments to access, inclusion, and care. These spaces show what’s possible when joint efforts between learners and the public create lasting value.

Impact through partnerships

Our partnerships are built on shared responsibility. We work with businesses, non-profits, Indigenous communities, government, and residents to find solutions that meet the changing needs of our city and province. This includes supporting efforts to address workforce gaps, climate resilience, and social equity. Together, we’re shaping inclusive, adaptable systems.

Responding to real challenges

Donor support helps VCC tackle urgent challenges like food insecurity, workforce gaps, and reconciliation. It powers programs rooted in equity and sustainability, and removes barriers to education. By giving, you help students lead with purpose and build a stronger, more inclusive future.

Community in action

Collaboration is how our values become action.
Every year, VCC works alongside local organizations, civic leaders, and residents to create experiences that serve, connect, and uplift our communities.
