What is the Education Council?
The Education Council is VCC’s academic governance body. It oversees curriculum, education policies, and quality assurance. Members represent faculty, students, administrators, and support staff. They guide decisions that shape learning and uphold academic standards.
Standing Committees
To support its work, the Education Council relies on three standing committees:
Curriculum Committee
Oversees curriculum development and ensures consistency and proper educational practice
Education Policy Committee
Reviews and advises on academic policies, renewing them on a five‑year cycle
Education Quality Committee
Handles program review and renewal, and ensures ongoing academic improvement
