Withdrawing from your program or courses
You can officially withdraw from a course or program before the withdrawal deadline. Withdrawal will result in a “W” grade on your transcript, and your refund (if eligible) is based on when VCC receives your written request.
Submit your withdrawal request
- To withdraw, complete and submit the Course Add/Drop & Program Withdrawal Form.
- Email the completed form to [email protected]
Refund policies
Before submitting your withdrawal request, please review the following refund policies:
- For domestic, Continuing Studies, and apprenticeship programs, refer to the Tuition and Fee Refund Policy
- For international students, please review the VCC International Refund Guidelines
Students have the right to appeal a matter related to a tuition and fees refund based on the Tuition and Fee Refund Policy. To appeal, you must provide written notification of your intent by completing the Student General Appeal form. You can submit this form by emailing [email protected] or by dropping it off in person at the Registrar’s Office at either campus location.
