Ready to register for your apprenticeship courses?
Follow these steps to complete your course apprentice registration – all through your myVCC account.
Step 1: Prepare your documents and info
Gather everything you’ll need before logging in.
- EducationPlannerBC confirmation email
- VCC registration email and VCC ID number
- SkilledTradesBC ID number
- Credit card or banking information
- Course reference number (CRN) of the course you want to register into
Step 2: Log onto myVCC and access registration
- Start by opening Chrome on a desktop or laptop
- Your username: your student ID followed by “@student.vcc.ca”
- First‑time password: MYVCCMMDDYY$% (“MYVCC” plus your birthday (MMDDYY) plus $%
- Set up self-service password reset and multi-factor authentication on first login
- If you have trouble logging in, please call the VCC Help Desk at 604.443.8700 or email [email protected]
- Click “Register for Courses”
Step 3: Select term and confirm eligibility
- Choose your term
- Confirm your registration status allows course registration
- Watch for “Permit Override” if a CRN is shown — make note of it
Step 4: Search, add, and submit courses
- Use “Find Classes” or “Enter CRNs” to add courses
- Click “Submit”
Step 5: Review fees and pay
Complete payment and send confirmation.
- If more than 2 months before class start: pay a $200 deposit within 48 hours and the remainder two months before
- If less than 2 months before start: pay full fees including deposit
- Email proof of payment (screenshot, full name, VCC ID) to [email protected] within 48 hours
Step 6: Check your schedule & follow up
Make sure your registration went through.
- Go to Student Profile → Register for Classes → View schedule
