Canadian English Language Benchmark Assessment for Nurses (CELBAN) Test Prep is a short testpreparation course for those internationally educated nurses who are applying for licensure either to the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC (CLPNBC) or to the College of Registered Nurses of BC (CRNBC) and who are required to demonstrate English language proficiency in the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing before entry to practice in the Canadian workplace.

Prerequisites

Be an internationally-trained nurse AND CLBPT/CLB 8 or above for Listening and CLB 7 or above for Reading; OR English Language Assessment with minimum 25 in Listening and 36 in Reading; OR IELTS score of minimum 6.5 in Listening and 6.0 in Reading; OR Department approval.
