Planning your learning journey
We’re here to help you at every step.
Start by talking with an advisor to look at your options and make a plan. We can then help you apply, enrol, and find funding. We’re also here to help with everyday needs – like working with your band office or borrowing a laptop. Your goals matter to us, and we’re here to help you reach them.
When you’re ready, you won’t have to do everything alone:
- Reach out to an Indigenous advisor to plan your program and application
- Self-identify your ancestry when you apply
- Explore your financial aid options, including 10 scholarships and bursaries just for Indigenous students
- Connect with Elders and cousins (student ambassadors) on campus
- Explore Indigenous Gathering Spaces
Self-identification
We encourage you to self-identify ancestry when applying to VCC. Indigenous students self-Identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit (Nation/Community). For more information, please contact an Indigenous Engagement Advisor.
