Get ready to start strong at VCC
You’ve been accepted — congratulations! Now it’s time to get set up, stay on track, and prepare for your first day. This checklist will walk you through everything you need to do before your program begins.
1. Confirm your seat
Follow the instructions in your offer letter to accept your seat and pay your commitment fee (if applicable).
2. Register for your courses
Once registration opens, log in to myVCC and choose your classes. Some programs will pre‑register you; others will require manual course selection.
3. Set up your myVCC account
Your myVCC login gives you access to registration, class schedules, tuition payments, and email. Set it up early so you’re ready to go.
4. Pay your fees
Follow the instructions in your offer letter to accept your seat and pay your commitment fee (if applicable).
5. Get your student ID
Pick up your VCC photo ID card at the Registrar’s Office (Broadway or Downtown campus) between Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
6. Plan your VCC life
Eligible students receive a U‑Pass BC for public transit. Load it to your Compass Card once you’re registered. Some programs offer orientation sessions or onboarding materials. Check your email regularly for updates.
