Clinical training in a classroom setting
VCC’s Health Simulation Centre brings practical training into the classroom. It is located at both the Broadway and Downtown campuses and reflects VCC’s commitment to hands-on, experience-based learning. These labs are designed to feel like real health care spaces, offering an inclusive learning environment where students can build practical skills. The centre showcases VCC’s leadership in best practices by promoting applied learning, culturally safe care, and strong career pathways. This supports better outcomes for learners and the communities they’ll serve.
A space to learn, try and grow
Through advanced simulation tools and training with lifelike mannequins, students develop clinical training in a supportive environment. You’ll build the confidence to think clearly under pressure, communicate with empathy, and learn through trial and reflection. By working through realistic scenarios and receiving guided feedback, you’ll be better prepared to handle complex situations in health care environments. This training helps you feel capable, grounded, and ready to step into your career purposefully.
