Admission decision
Your admission decision depends on the status of your application. To avoid delays, make sure your application is complete.
Incomplete application
Your application is considered incomplete if documents are missing or requirements are not yet met.
- Submit any outstanding documents by email if requested.
- You may receive an interview invitation for competitive selection programs once other requirements are met.
Complete application
Your application is complete when all required documents are submitted, and admission requirements are met.
- If a seat is available, an offer will be issued. Conditional admission may be issued depending on the programs and the evaluation results.
- If a seat is not available, you may be placed on a waitlist.
Accept your offer
If you meet the admission requirements and a seat is available, you’ll receive an offer. Here are the next steps after you get your offer:
- Review the offer to ensure the information is correct
- Read and understand the refund policy before accepting your offer
- Pay the international tuition deposit
- Receive and review the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and the Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) if applicable
- Meet important deadlines
- Submit proof of study permit approval
- Submit proof of satisfying the conditions

If you do not meet the English requirements, studying at ILAC or ILSC is the only option to get conditional admission to most VCC programs. Alternatively, apply after obtaining sufficient external English test scores.
Conditional admission for many VCC programs may be available for B.C. Grade 12 students based on transcript evaluation. To confirm admissibility, submit a complete application with interim transcripts and report cards for evaluation.
Qualified applicants may receive an offer if program seats are available. If program seats are full or reserved, qualified applicants may be placed on a waitlist. The admissions decision is communicated via email during the application processing period.
