ILSC University Pathway to VCC

VCC Programs Eligible for Conditional Admission from ILSC

Applicants can apply for conditional admission for the following programs if applying to VCC with the enrolment letters from ILSC and meet all other admission requirements. Pathway Certificates are valid for 2 years and must be valid on the requested VCC program start dates. Review the Conditionally admitted students page for details about meeting the conditions.

VCC Programs NOT Eligible for Conditional Admission from ILSC

Applicants must complete the required levels and meet all other academic requirements before applying to VCC. No conditional admission is available for the following programs. Pathway Certificates are valid for 2 years and must be valid on the requested VCC program start dates.

Some VCC programs do not accept ILSC’s University Pathway certificates.

Direct admission

Students may meet VCC’s English requirements and apply for direct admission by submitting ILSC University Pathway certificates upon applying to the majority of VCC programs. The pathway levels required for direct admission vary by program, and the pathway certificates are valid for 2 years.

Students who apply for admission directly with the pathway certificates may meet VCC’s requirements and be admitted to VCC by receiving a letter of acceptance (LOA), without conditions, as the English proficiency levels have been met. There will be no Conditional Letter of Acceptance (CLOA) issued with the language proficiency as a condition. The official Letter of Acceptance (LOA) will also not state that completion of a prerequisite program or course was required for enrolment at VCC.
